Soak in the thermal mineral waters, wander Bathhouse Row, and feel the nostalgia of a bygone era still hanging in the steam. Take the elevator up the Hot Springs Mountain Observation Tower and take in a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Ouachita Mountains stretching in every direction. Adn don’t forget, this is an urban National Park, so make sure you get your park passports stamped!

Day One

  • We drove from Eureka Springs and arrived late due to storms.

  • Grab lunch in the downtown area hear Bathhouse Row. We ate at Quapaw Bathhouse before our treatments

  • Enjoy a relaxing bath and massage and/or other wellness treatments at Quapaw Bathhouse (book well in advance!)

  • Walk along Bathhouse Row. Tour Fordyce Bathhouse which is now currently a musem. Lamar Bathhouse is now a gift shop. You can get National Park passport stamps in both locations.

  • Drive to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower and take the elevator to the top for a 360 view of Hot Springs - check out the museum on the second floor of the tower to learn more about the town’s history

  • Dinner at the Purple Cow

  • Choose your favorite hotel chain to stay for the evening

Day Two

  • Wake up early and get in line at the Pancake Shop for an epic breakfast before heading back home!

Day One

  • Wake up early and drive to Eureka Springs

  • Check in at the historic 1886 Crescent Hotel and enjoy lunch on the 4th floor patio of the hotel at the Skybar Gourmet Pizza

  • Walk across the hotel parking lot to start an Urban Hike to track down five of Eureka’s historic healing springs: Grotto, Crescent, Harding, Sweet, and Basin.

  • Do a little bit of shopping based on your schedule. We had enough time to stop at the tabletop game shop called GameMakers before our next activity. We built in additional shopping time for the next day

  • Drive to Onyx Cave and take a self-guided tour

  • Dinner at Ermilio’s Italian restaurant

  • Enjoy a colossal cupcake for dessert during Twilight Hour at Top of the Crest (Crescent Hotel)

  • If you dare, take a ghost tour at the Crescent Hotel

Day Two

  • Drive over to ThornCrown Chapel for a magical, quiet meditative way to start the morning

  • Head back downtown for some extended shopping before lunch.

  • You could stay downtown and choose a lunch spot there or eat lunch on the Eureka Springs & North Arkansas Railway

  • Drive to the Passion Play campus and spend the rest of the day:

    • View the Christ of the Ozarks statue

    • Tour the museums on campus

    • Go on the Holy Land bus tour

    • Dinner at the Great Hall

    • Enjoy the amazing Passion Play!
